Karen & I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the years of support and friendship whilst we have been running Floyd Cove Nursery. We value our time and friendships and have had a wonderful life breeding, growing and sharing our Daylily love with all our customers, friends and family both near and far.
The time has come for us to say farewell and enjoy our retirement. We are so very happy to
announce that we are handing over the reins to a very enthusiastic young family who are keen to share a life on the property and continuing to share and grow our daylilies.
We excited to welcome the Gilstrap family . Toby Gilstrap will be handling the day to day operations and will be your contact for orders etc. Shelley, who works full-time, will support and handle the financial side of the business. Toby and Shelley have four wonderful boys aged 14 to 6 years. The boys will be a great help and will also enjoy a life on the farm.
Toby & Shelley plan to continue our practices for the business, so you should see little change in how things are done. Toby will continue to release my line for some time, and will have another 16 + new introductions for 2025 which will be available for Spring shipping. The general listing will continue to be available. A new 2025 catalog is planned, which we will help with this year, and the website will be updated in due course, closer to the end of the year. Toby and Shelley will be reaching out to introduce themselves in the near future.

Karen & I are looking forward to enjoying our new home in Washington State and will be checking in and visiting when we can. We may see you in a daylily garden somewhere one day...... Again from us we thank you and wish the Gilstrap family every success.
