Visitors just love this one. The fact that there are two separate tones of purple on one bloom, and the silver/white really makes GHOSTLY PASSIONS go Bump in the night. The petals are a wine purple while the inner watermark is a bluish violet. I have never seen this color combo before GHOSTLY PASSIONS. Then with the light bluish/white silver on the petal edges AND the Sepal edges… its Unique. I have put photos of seedings from GHOSTLY PASSIONS up on the web and they have been well received. Neat!

Bright like neon fire, plus generations of GREEN on Green on Green. Again, look at the Sdlg. number and so it is Extra Limited with less than 20 pots. This creation IS a… SHIMMERING FIRE. Big, flat, an eyeful from across the garden. Triple Thick substance with light ruffles and a Chartreuse edge.

I made maybe a thousand crosses to get this (Stable) appliqued beauty. So many lovelies, but after a while and some heat the bold patterns slipped away. STRIKE FORCE was the only one that not only kept the wild applique but gets bolder/darker as the weeks heat-up.
STRIKE FORCE has clean rich colors in bright lemon petals with darker veining, Diamond Dusted with that crazy black/red applique pattern. Flat, with none of those seashell’s bad vigor. A healthy, never-loose strong growing hem. Reblooms here 5-6 times per season. Light ruffles with a matching picotee.

GUY'S JAZZY is an absolute shocker from the first bloom to the 6th rebloom. Rarely, does a pattern keep this much action for so long. GUY'S JAZZY, with her triple edging & contrasting dark blueberry silver tips all around the ruffles. Also, a bi-tone with darker sepals. I have none better anywhere, so that should tell you. GUY'S JAZZY may just be one of my finest big patterns ever.

SURPRISING FIRE is bold and glowing. Rich molten red and radiant. The surprise comes from the large chartreuse appliqued throat pattern. And… from two appliqued purples, where did the red come from? SURPRISE! Genetics, and at that split second when this little guy had to decide what color it was going to grow-up and be, somehow red popped out. I looked and looked and told Karen “I have no red appliques that SURPRISING FIRE could have come from”. So now we have one, and… she easily throws orange/red appliques. I would recommend now putting teeth or tentacles on her, with flowers with no eye like White Whiskers, Jeweled Smile, Mystic Wonder or even Satin Facets for FUN. That would be cool. Easily makes big pods on tall candelabra branching. Gorgeous!

PLUM RAZZ’N is a combination of teeth with a pattern. This new look is certainly on its way… The pattern is colored in dark charcoal and plum, these then outline a cool deep green throat. Petals are lightly ruffled and with a wide white edge. This razor edging is ALL Teeth and Tentacles in Double rows! Usually when you have an eye its color appears on the edge too. Not so in PLUM RAZZ’N, which makes this wide white edging really Pop. A different coloration and an addition to teeth.

Basically, this Roughneck looks like the Schwarzenegger of a Beefed-Up Tumbleweed, and it had better. 6 years of this line crossing of better on Tumbleweed X Better X Better X Better and so on. A dark Ribbed eye of almost black/purple, with a double edge. This wide lemon chartreuse edging of tumbling tentacles that doubles-up, and teeth on teeth!
RUFF AND TUMBLE’S bold edging of the black and lemon looks like a coral reef. Sepals are rolled-back and are end to end all Tentacles too! Green then Lemon throat.
